Award Importance in USNSCC

Awards within the USNSCC are designed to recognize and reward time in service,
rank, training, accomplishment and special contributions to the unit, region and corps.

These include but are not limited to:

• Chairman's Medal
• Nicholas Brango Award
• Willis E. Reed Award
• Keith T. Weaver Award
• Fred T. Carl Award
• Honor Ribbon
• Distinguished Service
• Meritorious Recognition
• Cadet Citation

In addition to these, regions and units usually offer awards, including commendations,
certificates of achievement, sports awards and scholarships.

What about cadet recognition?
Honors and Awards are of great importance to every cadet
and are a big aspect of morale and esprit de corps within the program.
